Basic Information

Chibi-Usa is one of the cutest characters in the Sailor Moon series. She makes her debut in the second season of Sailor Moon (R).

 

Chibiusa is from the future, and is the daughter of Neo Queen Serenity and King Endymion. She is heir to the throne of Queen of Crystal Tokyo. Her mother was put into a deep sleep by the Black Moon people, and King Endymion was killed.

 

Chibiusa luckily escaped the killings in Crystal Tokyo. She wanted to go back to the 20th century to obtain the silver crystal and return to the future to save her mother. The only way she could travel back in time was through the time chamber. Luckily she met Sailor Pluto (who Chibiusa calls “Puu”) who let her travel back in time.

 

Puu became Chibiusa’s friend and guide during Sailor Moon R. Sailor Pluto always refers to Chibiusa as Small Lady.

 

Once Chibiusa went back in time, she fell from a pink cloud in the sky and crashed right into Mamoru and Usagi while they were kissing. Chibiusa pointed a gun to Usagi’s head demanding for the silver crystal. It turns out that the gun was just a toy, however it was quite violent for such a sweet girl.

 

Chibiusa disappeared for just a few minutes after meeting Usagi on the docks and appeared for the second time at Usagi’s house. She had hypnotized Usagi’s parents into believing that she was Usagi’s and Shingo’s cousin by using Luna-P (her magic ball.)

 

Usagi and Chibi-Usa didn’t always get along very well. In the beginning of their relationship Usagi hated Chibi-Usa because she was always sneaking around and manipulating people. Eventually they became closer and even slept in the same bed. Chibi-Usa began to depend on Usagi to protect her from bad dreams and other enemies.

 

Chibi-Usa eventually found the silver crystal and discovered the Sailor Scouts true identities. She attempted to go back to the future with the silver crystal, however she wasn’t able to. In the end, she brought the Sailor Scouts with her to the future the help save her mother.

 

At the very end of Sailor Moon R, Chibi-Usa is kidnapped and brainwashed with black magic. She becomes a grown women called, Black Lady. She had unbelievable dark powers that would destroy the earth. Luckily she still had past happy memories with her family and friends, and she returned to her normal state once Sailor Moon convinced her that she had people who loved her.

 

Chibi-Usa went back to the future to live with her parent’s at the end of the season. She made her second return in Sailor Moon S, as Sailor Chibi Moon! Chibi-Usa had become a Sailor Senshi, and fought along with the Inner Senshi for the rest of Sailor Moon S and Sailor Moon SuperS. Her attack wasn’t that powerful, however she protected all the people she loved and cared about.
